Interpretation of Text - Margaret Atwood

These images are interpretations of 5 chosen texts by Margaret Atwood. After reading a couple of her books, I picked up on the themes of feminism, delicacy and nature, and wanted to demonstrate these qualities throughout the book covers. I chose to use dots to run through the illustrations and tie them together in order to show the delicate theme. I personally enjoyed creating the contrast between the dots and the flat coloured shapes. I think that the shapes contrast so well due to the absence of an outline. Here are my interpretations -
